NECA Convention
Getting the Word Out

We're expecting more than 5,000 NECA Show-goers for the opening on Sunday, Oct. 5, so be prepared for lots of traffice at your booth that day!More than 2,200 electrical professionals are registered to attend both the NECA convention and trade show, but we’re still reaching out for any last-minute Chicago-area attendees and industry leaders who can take advantage of everything NECA 2008 Chicago offers.

1) Exhibitor Press Releases: Kudos to those exhibitors who are taking advantage of the Exhibitor Press Release postings on our website, www.necaconvention.org. Exhibitor Press Releases are the best way to let folks know about what your booth at the NECA Show will feature and how attendees can reach you either before or after the event.

2) Attendee E-News: Read the full archive of our bi-weekly e-newsletter for registered and prospective attendees online. This has been a great tool to reach out to trade media as well, especially since they get to attend all sessions free of charge. Consider presenting a technical workshop at NECA 2009 Seattle to draw more media attention to your company.

3) Email Adverts: We just did our last blast email to several trade magazines’ subscriber lists, recruiting new attendees for NECA 2008 Chicago. See examples of the advertisements online.
