NECA convention-goers will have a special treat when the all-star bluegrass lineup from Kentucky Thunder joins Ricky Skaggs and Bruce Hornsby on stage for the Closing Celebration, Oct. 7 at Arie Crown Theater. Kentucky Thunder is compromised of the talented musicians who have most recently accompanied Skaggs, and together the band “draws from deep roots in mountain music - adding piano and Hornsby's inimitable songwriting to the core bluegrass lineup of mandolin, guitar, bass, fiddle, and banjo.”
