Every year, NECA puts on a glittering bash to kick off the convention and trade show. This year's celebration will also include a focus on sustainability. Guests will enter eco-friendly landscape at the Seattle Sheraton to enjoy a special martini bar, coffee and wine/brew tasting stations. There will also be a large selection of sumptuous hors d'oeuvres reflecting the cuisines of the Northwest - just the right taste to precede a night on the town. Entertainment will be provided by the Freddy Pink Band.

In years past, many of the decorations used for the opening reception have been taken down and tossed after the event. But this year's tabletop arrangements of fir trees will be donated in NECA's name to the city of Seattle for planting in a local park.

So come have a great time and know that you're helping NECA do a great green service for Seattle!
