Markets expand and contract. But the projects keep getting more ambitious – bolder architecture and engineering, new materials with new complexities of implementation and transport along with increased contract values. Superior execution of these projects is not only key to the reduction of potential for claims and disputes, but also to a project’s financial success. This program will discuss the skills needed to improve project execution and strategies for maximizing profits. Attendees will learn the importance of project execution awareness, planning and measurement. The presenter will demonstrate of the effects of sound leadership practices, and discuss the importance of teamwork and the paradigm shift in motivational tactics that can lead to improved financial results. This program will include short exercise on the financial impacts of project productivity on a typical construction business.
Speaker Bio:
Presenter: Jeff Moore, Navigant Consulting
Jeff Moore is a Director in Maxim Consul ting’s Construction Practice responsible for leading strategy, process and business consulting services targeted at the building and construction market. He works closely with real estate, design and construction firms to evaluate business practices and assist with management challenges. His areas of specialization include: organizational assessments, strategic planning, job controls, marketing/business development and training programs. Mr. Moore is a nationally recognized, dynamic public speaker and published author.
