Speaker Bio:

Edward M. Orlet is the National Association of Electrical Distributors’ Director of Development. Ed leads NAED’s industry research efforts, fundraising, and governmental affairs initiatives. Ed also serves as facilitators for diverse distributor and cross-industry groups, as well as moderator for industry panels nationwide. Prior to joining NAED in 2001, Orlet worked as a distributor salesperson to mechanical contracting and OEM markets. He has more than twelve years experience in distribution and sales to construction, institutional and industrial customers. Ed also worked on the legislative staff in the Illinois State Senate. Ed holds a bachelor of sciences degree in advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
