Description:

Vendor partnering is for contracting companies of all sizes. This session will define vendor partnering and highlight the benefits of a partnering relationship. You will learn how to select a vendor partner to help maximize productivity savings on the jobsite, what the relationship can mean to your business, and mistakes to look out for. This session also looks at vendor partnering from the manufacturer and electrical distributor's points of view.

Speaker Bio:

Greg Gossett, Vice President of Corporate Operations at ERMCO, Inc. is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from the Indianapolis Electrical JATC apprenticeship program in 1986 and soon after began his 23 year career at ERMCO, an Indianapolis based electrical contracting firm started by his father in 1962. As Vice President of Corporate Operations, Greg is responsible for management of the company's assets, internal resources, and information to allow the President and other departments within the company to operate efficiently.

Jerry Greeson, Director of Purchasing for Cleveland Electric Co, an Atlanta based electrical contractor started in 1925, Jerry has been with Cleveland for 41 years, serving as Project manager, President of the Cleveland Leasing division, but mostly as Purchasing Director. Cleveland started vendor / partnering in the fall of 2002 and have continued to improve the process of material management. Jerry is a member of the Roundtable Peer Group Purchasing Committee since its inception, past board member of Greater Atlanta Electrical League, and Illuminating Engineering Society.

Please note that every state handles licensure and continuing education credits differently. To avoid confusion, NECA strongly recommends you check with your state authority whether they will grant these CEUs for management education programs held at NECA 2009 Seattle.
